On April 4, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 37-year-old Matthew Edwards of Niagara Drive.
It’s alleged on April 4, 2019 the accused was apprehended by employees of a business in the 200 block of McNabb Street.
Police arrived and a subsequent search found him to be in possession of a number of items of stolen property as well as a small amount of what is believed to be crystal methamphetamine.
He is charged with four counts of theft under $5,000, two counts of possession of stolen property and one count of possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 13, 2019.
