Theft of knives, fireworks remains under investigation

Two suspects are wanted in relation to a theft that occurred at a Trunk Road business on Dec. 27, 2020.

Police are hoping to identify two suspects believed to be responsible for an incident of break and enter that occurred on Trunk Road in late December.

A news release issued today by Crime Stoppers states that hunting knives and fireworks were stolen from a local business, and the building sustained $2,000 in damages.

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are requesting your assistance in identifying suspects involved in an incident of break and enter.

On Dec. 27, 2020 at approximately 5:35 a.m., the suspects gained entry to a business in the 0-100 block of Trunk Road. There was $2,000 in damage to the entry door and display case and $1,000 worth of hunting knives and fireworks stolen.

The first suspect was wearing a black coat, dark jeans, dark shoes, a blue backpack, and a brown single strap bag. The second suspect was wearing a light blue jacket, brown gloves, grey pants, a purple duffle bag, and brown running shoes with white soles.
