A 33-year-old man is accused of breaking into two vehicles on Sunday — stealing five pairs of glasses and a rosary.

At around 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 10, officers were called to Megginson Drive for a reported vehicle theft.

Police say a witness later found the suspect going through a second car on Courtney Crescent.

Daniel Murphy is charged with two counts of theft under $5,000.

He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear back in court on November 20, 2023.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and Murphy is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
