Three busted for drugs on Bloor Street West

Three people are facing drug-related charges after a traffic stop on Bloor Street West turned up suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine.

All three were later released from custody and are scheduled to appear back in court on June 26.

In a news release, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service says officers noticed drug paraphernalia when they pulled over the vehicle on May 1 around 2 p.m.

Michael Hogan-Denis, 29, is charged with:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of a Controlled Substance x 2
• Failing to Comply with Undertaking

Jason Wright, 47, is charged with:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance x 2
• Probation Order: Non-Compliance – Failing Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour

Reno White, 21, is charged with:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance

None of the allegations have been proven in court and all three accused are considered innocent unless proven guilty.
