A 28-year-old male faces several additional charges in regards to domestic related assaults.

A 28-year-old male faces several additional charges in regards to domestic related assaults. Officers attended the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and charged this male with 2 additional counts of assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm. The accused will appear in bail court tomorrow. 

On April 9, 2014 police responded to a family dispute. It is alleged that the accused, age 18, got angry and a physical altercation occurred with his mother. Police arrested the accused for assault and breach of and undertaking. The accused was on an undertaking and breached one of the conditions. The accused will appear in court on May 12, 2014 at 9 a.m.

On April 9, 2014 police attended in response to a physical altercation involving two males in the 500 block of Cathcart Street. The altercation was over on arrival. Police were familiar with a female present and a check was done. The check revealed that the accused Patricia Lynn Pheasant, age 24, of Queen Street West was wanted for breaching her court ordered probation. The accused will appear in court on May 12, 2014 at 9 a.m.

On April 9, 2014 police arrested the accused Dylan Daigle, age 18, for breaching his recognizance. A warrant request had been filed on April 5, 2014 when an officer saw the accused out past his curfew. The accused will appear in court on May 12, 2014 at 9 a.m.

On April 9, 2014 police attended at a disturbance in the 400 block of Queen Street West. The male person causing the disturbance left the building. Officers did a check of another male and it was found that there were outstanding warrants for the individual. The accused Ronald Wesley Mearrow, age 33, of Queen Street West was arrest for breach of probation X4 and failing to attend court. The accused will appear in court on May 12, 2014 at 9 a.m.

On April 9, 2014 police were approached by a concerned citizen regarding 3 adults drinking alcohol and yelling on the boardwalk by St. Mary’s River Drive. Police did attend in the area and observed the accused Preston McLeod, age 31, of Cathcart Street in possession of alcohol and beer. The accused is on court ordered conditions not to purchase or possess alcohol. The accused was arrested for breach of probation X2, breach of a recognizance X2 and threatening death. The accused will appear in bail court on April 10, 2014 at 10 a.m.

On April 9, 2014 police attended at the Algoma Remand and Treatment Center and met with an accused male, age 28, regarding further domestic related charges. The accused had been arrested on other domestic matters earlier in the week. Further investigation was done by officers from Investigation Services and further charges were laid. The accused was charged with assault X2 and assault causing bodily harm. The accused will appear in bail court on April 11, 2014 at 10 a.m.

On April 9, 2014 police attended at the Algoma Remand and Treatment Center and executed outstanding warrants on an accused male. The accused Marouane Zatouf, age 24, of no fixed address was arrested on numerous charges dating back to 2012. The charges include breach of probation X4, breach of recognizance, escape lawful custody, theft under $5000, break and enter possession of stolen property X2 and failing to attend court. The accused will appear in bail court on April 10, 2014 at 10 a.m.

On April 9, 2014 investigators from Investigation Services arrested a male, age 18, for dated sexual assault charges. The accused was a young person at the time of the alleged crimes. The accused was charged with sexual assault and choking. The accused will appear in bail court on April 10, 2014 at 10 a.m.
