Arrest On August 21, 2014 City Police responded to a complaint of a young person age 16, in the downtown area in possession of a shotgun.

On August 21, 2014 City Police responded to a complaint of a young person age 16, in the downtown area in possession of a shotgun.  Further investigation revealed the young person went to a local address and had a homemade shotgun and shells with him. The accused threatened to kill the victim but members of the public intervened and police arrested the accused for threatening death. The accused will appear in court onSeptember 23, 2014 at 9:30 am.

Break and enter

A break and enter occurred in the 100 block of Upton Road sometime between 4:00 pm on August 20, 2014 and 9:30 am today.  A fire extinguisher was thrown through the window and money was taken.

A 19-year-old male was arrested last night by city police for a domestic related assault. It is alleged he pushed his girlfriend to the ground in their apartment. He will be appearing in Bail Court this morning.
