48 year old Mark Hellstern of Toronto Ontario was arrested at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Station and charged with one count of Criminal Harassment. It is alleged that between July 2012 and December 12 2012 the accused sent several harassing and threatening e-mails to a local law firm. He was released on a recognizance to appear in court on the 21st of January 2012.

Shoplifting arrest
Yesterday morning officers with Patrol Services arrested 35 year old Richard Speers of 67 Palace Drive and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that while the accused was in Walmart on Great Northern Road, he selected 2 bottles of cologne valued at $84.94. Speers then took the bottles out of their packages, concealed them in his coat and then left the store without paying for them. The accused will appear in court on January 14th 2013.
Update: male charged with Criminal Harassment
Yesterday morning officers with Patrol Services arrested 44 year old Robert O’Brien Hall of 243 McNabb Street and charged him with one count of criminal harassment. It is alleged that between the 1st of August of this year and December 10th of this year the accused repeatedly watched a female victim that was not known to him at her place of work. It is alleged that the accused then followed the victim after she left her place of work. Mr. O’Brien Hall was arrested by officers and will appear in bail court today.
Vehicles stolen:
3 males were arrested overnight and charged with theft over $5000.00 and possession of stolen property. It is alleged that they stole a vehicle from a downtown area parking lot. The vehicle was later located by the OPP in Aweres Township.
22 year old Paul Archibald of 150 Trout Lake Rd. and 22 year old Bradley Bruce of 247 Gloucester St. will be appearing in Provincial Court on January 14th 2013.
24 year old Cameron McDonald of 773 McAllen St. will be appearing in Bail Court later today.
In an unrelated matter, a 1995 Green Jeep Cherokee with Ontario Licence BHLR 712 was reported stolen from a Northern Ave. apartment complex. The owner believes the vehicle was stolen sometime in the evening of December 11th until the time she reported it to City Police on the 12th of December at 8p.m.
