On December 25, 2014 at 8:54 a.m., City Police arrested and charged a 38 year old male with several domestic related charges.  It is alleged that for the past two years, the accused has threatened on numerous occasions to cause bodily harm and/or death to the victim.  As well, he has repeatedly communicated by phone and text messages with the victim, against her wishes, causing her to fear for her safety.  It is further alleged that on December 24, 2014 that he damaged parts of her vehicle.  The accused was also on a Court issued recognizance with the condition not to molest, harass or physically interfere with the victim.  Accordingly, he was charged with Threaten bodily harm/death, Domestic mischief, Criminal Harassment and Breach of Recognizance. 

The accused will be appearing in WASH Court on December 26, 2014.

A 35-year-old male is in custody and will be attending WASH (Weekend and Statutory Holiday) Court this morning charged with assault and mischief after a domestic incident on the 24 Dec 14 at approximately 6 p.m.  It is alleged the accused committed mischief by kicking a child gate damaging the gate and  door trim and assaulted his common-law spouse by pushing her down to the ground and confining her in a “bear hug” while forcefully taking a cell phone from her hands when she attempted to call 911.
