City police are currently investigating two break and enters that occurred in the west end of the city overnight. Police were called to a residence on Base Line at 6:45 p.m. when the home owner returned to find someone inside the home.

City police are currently investigating two break and enters that occurred in the west end of the city overnight. Police were called to a residence on Base Line at 6:45 p.m. when the home owner returned to find someone inside the home. Canine was used in an attempt to locate the persons responsible but were unsuccessful. Tools and electronic items were reported stolen. This investigation is continuing.

The second break and enter was reported on third line west. A computer, money, jewellery and a large screen T.V. were reported stolen. Residents in the area are urged to keep a watchful eye for any suspicious activity in the area and are urged to contact police if anything unusual is observed.
