Four Reports Of Break And Enters
Entries were reported to the following locations:
A residence in the 100 block of Woodward Ave. was entered by forcing a kitchen door. Electronic items were stolen.
O’Aces Bar, 2 Queen St.E. was entered by forcing a rear door and breaking the window. A quantity of liquor and a TV were stolen.
At the Travelodge, 332 Bay St., a room door was forced. Once inside culprits stole a bottle of liquor.
At approx. 2:55 AM this morning u/k persons broke into the Berkana Art Studio, located at 769 Queen St.W. and stole a quantity of art items and some jewellery. Entry was gained by smashing the front window.

Pulled Over For Impaired Driving And Arrested For Outstanding Warrants
At approx. 10:30 PM last night City Police stopped a vehicle being driven by 28 year old Adam Markham. Investigation showed that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
Mr. Markham was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Refuse Breath Sample. Mr. Markham also had outstanding warrants for his arrest. The warrants dated back to Oct. 2004 and were breach of release documents. Adam Markham, of 100 Amy St. will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.
Theft Charges
At approx. 2:20 PM yesterday afternoon City Police arrested Augustino Greco for Theft Under $5,000.00, Breach of Probation and Escape Custody. It is alleged that Mr. Greco attended at Sears in the Station Mall on Jan 4th and stole a quantity of cologne. Upon being apprehended by a Sears Security officer the accused assaulted the security officer and fled.
42-year-old Augustino Greco, of 261 St. James St. will be appearing in court on Monday March 20th at 9:00 AM.
Domestic Assault
Yesterday afternoon City Police were called to an east end address in regards to a domestic assault situation. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim and were informed that the suspect allegedly choked the victim and then threatened to kill the victim. The accused, a 17 year old, was later arrested and charged with Assault and Threatening. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.
Motor Vehicle Collision
At approx. 4:20 AM this morning City Police were called to attended at a motor vehicle collision on Stevens St. involving an Impaired Driver. It is alleged that 19-year-old Jacklyn Nadler, of 1033 Lake St. was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. In the incident the accused was reversing when she struck a 7500 Taxicab. No one was injured and only minor damage was reported to the vehicles involved. The accused is charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Over 80 mgs. And will be appearing in court on Monday March 20th at 9:00AM.
