City Police arrested 20 year old Jake Pelletier of 30 Wellington Street East was arrested on February 21st for a Break and Enter which occurred in July 2012. A home in the 100 block of Albert Street West was broken into by the accused but he was scared off by the homeowner’s son. The accused cut himself on some glass and left blood at the scene which was collected for DNA evidence. A positive hit was obtained from the DNA sample which led to Mr. Pelletier’s arrest. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on March 25th.

25 year old Ashley Paul was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued on the 15th of January for failing to appear for fingerprints. She will be appearing in Court on the 25th of March.

23 year old Kenneth Armstrong of no fixed address was arrested on warrants and will be appearing in bail court this morning. It is alleged that he was previously arrested for theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property under $5000 but failed to go to court when he was scheduled to do so. In addition to the original charges he also now faces a charge of failing to attend court.

Cash, an X-Box, medication and jewellery were reported to have been stolen from a home that was broken into in the 100 block of Lorna Drive. The break in happened between 6:00 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. on February 20th.
