Male arrested for theft
On Feb. 8, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 19-year-old Dustin Betournay of Wellington Street East for theft related offences.
It is alleged that just after midnight on Feb. 8, 2017 the accused was going through vehicles in the 100 block of Weldon Avenue. Officers located the accused a short distance away and found various stolen items on his person.
The accused was taken into custody and charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of possession of stolen property and one count of trespass by night. He was held in custody to appear in bail court.
