Approximately $40, 000 in watches have reportedly gone missing from a local delivery service. The items were being shipped from Sturgeon Falls to a jewelry store in Sault Ste. Marie when they went missing.
Arrests
20 year old Randy Nahwagahbow of 24 Amherst St. turned himself in at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Station and was arrested on outstanding warrant of Fail to Appear Prints and Fail to Appear Court on an outstanding Mischief Charge. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 25 2013.

Charge Laid In Collision Involving Overhead Wires
As a result of the investigation into a collision during the early morning hours of the 22nd of January 2013 involving overhead wires on Second Line East, officers with Traffic Services have charged Ronald PIGEON, age 65 of 36 Silverdale Road with Fail To Report Accident, contrary to section 199(1) of the Highway Traffic Act. Mr. Pigeon was operating a Dump Truck being used for hauling snow at the time of the collision.
Arrests/Charged Persons:
On the 23rd of January 2013, Canada Customs had occasion to check a recently turned 16 year old female attempting to enter Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario by taxi coming from the area of Traverse City, Michigan. Police were contacted to assist customs officers.
Investigation revealed that the young person had worked at a hunting camp in the summer of 2012. A relationship grew between the young person, who at the time was 15 years of age and a 35 year old male. An intimate relationship began between the two involving kissing, hugging and oral sex. On their return to their homes contact with the two continued by way of text messaging and the internet. Nude pictures were sent to one another and a meeting set up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Officers arrested the accused male age 35, on January 23, 2013. The accused stands charged with sexual interference, sexual exploitation, sexual assault and possessing child pornography. The accused will appear in bail court on January 24, 2013 at 10:00am.

On January 23, 2013 at approximately 11:30pm the accused Jodi Lynn Wright of 315 John Street, Apt. #6 was arrested for impaired driving and having care and control of a motor vehicle when her blood alcohol was over the legal limit of .08. Officers were called to the 200 block of Wilcox Avenue regarding a vehicle in the front yard a residence. The accused was later found in the area of RJ’S Market on Wellington Street West. The accused will appear in court on February 25, 2013 at 09:00.

On January 24, 2013 at approximately 12:55 am the accused Jerry Parniak age 69 of 176 Huron Street, basement apartment was located on Albert Street East, while having care and control of a motor vehicle was stopped and provided a sample of his breath into an approved screening device and registered a fail. The accused was transported to the station and again failed a breath test. The accused will appear in court on February 25, 2013, 09:00am.
