Youth Faces Multiple Charges After Crimes On Douglas St
A young person will appear in bail court this morning after being picked up in connection with break-ins around the 400 block of Douglas Street.
A shed was broken into there and a vehicle's windshield smashed.
A packsack is believed to have been taken there, after which the culprit moved to a nearby address and smashed out a passenger window in another vehicle.
That vehicle was gone through by the culprit and a quantity of Canadian Tire money was taken.
The young person, who cannot be named under Canada's Youth Criminal Justice Act, is facing numerous charges:
- mischief (two counts)
- trespass by night (two counts)
- breach of probation (two counts)
- theft under (two counts)
- break and enter (two counts)
- possession of stolen property (one count)
