On June 8, 2016 city police attended an east side residence of the city to assist a female in retrieving her belongings. While at the residence police encountered a male who police allegedly believed had been drinking.

On June 8, 2016 city police attended an east side residence of the city to assist a female in retrieving her belongings. While at the residence police encountered a male who police allegedly believed had been drinking. A check of the male was done and it was found that the male was on court ordered conditions not to be drinking when in the presence of his daughter. Police arrested the male age 51 for breaching his recognizance. The male is scheduled to appear in court on July 11, 2016 at 9 a.m.

On June 8, 2016, a robbery occurred at the Tim Hortons in the west end of the city. A male described as 6 feet tall, and approximately 250 pounds allegedly robbed the employee at the cash area and threatened to kill a second clerk. The male exited the store with currency from the cash register. Video surveillance was obtained by police.  Later in the day police located a suspect and arrested the suspect for robbery with violence, threatening death and upon searching the male the accused was found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin and was arrested accordingly. The male age 33 is to appear in bail court on June 9, 2016 at 9 a.m.
