Yesterday afternoon officers received a complaint of criminal harassment.

Yesterday afternoon officers received a complaint of criminal harassment. It is alleged that between May of 2013 and March of 2014 a 68-year-old female repeatedly followed her former boyfriend and his new girlfriend in addition to repeatedly driving by their residences. The accused has been charged with one count of criminal harassment and will appear in court on April 30.

Shortly after 5 p.m. last night a witness reported seeing a young male run out of the Station Mall with something hidden in their sweater. The male then met another male outside the mall and handed something over. Patrol officers attended and determined two bottles of vodka had stolen from the LCBO store. As a result of the investigation 23-year-old Thomas Archibald of Albert Street West has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000. 20-year-old Justin Neveau of Albert Street West has been charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime. Both males will appear in court on April 28.

Just before 4 a.m. this morning officers on routine patrol noted a vehicle parked in a laneway on Albert Street West. Officers checked the occupants of the vehicle. 21-year-old Ryan Young of Woodcroft Avenue was on a release document with conditions to be in his residence each and every night except for employment purposes. At the time officers were dealing with the accused, he was not working. The accused has been charged with one count of breach of a recognizance and will appear in bail court this morning.

A 45-year-old male is in custody charged with assault and threatening after police were called to a domestic incident in the city’s east end at 9 p.m. It is alleged that the accused shoved his spouse into a counter and threatened to punch her. During the investigation it was disclosed that a similar event occurred one month prior. The accused faces two charges of assault and two charges of uttering threats to cause bodily harm. He will appear in bail court Thursday morning.
