On March 25, 2015, city police responded to a domestic complaint from a female. It is alleged that a former spouse had inappropriate contact with her. As a result of the investigation, a man was arrested and charged with sexual assault. He will be appearing in bail court on March 26, 2015.
On March 13, 2015, the city police were contacted by the Children’s Aid Society. Concerns were raised when a 13-month-old baby was brought in to the hospital with bruising on his face. A probe was launched by the Criminal Investigation Division. As a result of that enquiry, a man was subsequently arrested and charged with assault on the 13-month-old infant. He will be appearing in bail court to answer to the allegations.
