On May 21, 2015 at 09:55 a.m. a 27-year-old male was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference. It’s alleged that back in April of 2015 the accused assaulted a 14-year-old known to him. He will be appearing in court on June 22, 2015.
On May 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. an 18-year-old male was arrested on Albert St. on domestic related breaches. It’s alleged that the accused was found to be in the company of a person that he was prohibited from being with. Additionally, he failed to appear at a Bail release program on May 15 2015. The accused was also on probation with the condition that he keep the peace and be of good behaviour. The accused was charged with two counts of breach of recognizance and one count of breach of probation and is scheduled to appear in Bail Court on May 22, 2015.
On May 20, City Police officers attended to a domestic related disturbance in the 400 block of Korah Road. The officers were able to locate a male in the area of Raymond Street and Korah Road. Observations of this male led officers to charge him with being intoxicated in a public place. While trying to gain control of the accused, he began kicking and punching at the officers. He was eventually brought under control and further charged with assault with intent to resist arrest. He will be appearing in Provincial Court June 22.
