SECOND ARREST IN ASSAULT The Sault Police service has arrested the second male involved in yesterday's assault on Gore Street. William Vincent was charged yesterday with assault with a weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon.
SECOND ARREST IN ASSAULT
The Sault Police service has arrested the second male involved in yesterday's assault on Gore Street. William Vincent was charged yesterday with assault with a weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon. These charges stem from an incident that took place at 3:50 a.m. on October 1 on Gore Street when William Vincent along with a young offender allegedly attacked a 26-year-old male. Both accused were released from custody with conditions. Vincent will appear in court on November 4.


TWO ARRESTED FOR ROLLING TAXI
On Thursday, September 26, at 2:15 a.m., several patrons of the Outback Bar at Sault College were involved in rolling over a Checker Cab. Two of the involved persons were identified and have been charged with mischief, endangering life (the driver was in the cab when it was rolled) and common nuisance. The two accused persons, Shawn Leahey, age 19, of 171 Willow Avenue Apt 2B and Michael Darlow, age 21, of 198 Lake Street will appear in court on November 18.
