FAILING TO APPEAR
City Police arrested 59 year old Craig Herriman on October the 4th. Mr.Herriman was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court back in July of this year. Mr.Herriman is to appear in court to answer to this charge on November 5th 2012.
BREACH
45 year old Lorelei May Gabow of Sault Ste Marie was arrested by City Police officers in the afternoon of October the 4th for breaching 2 recognizance of bail. It is alleged she breached 2 of her conditions of not to communicate with one of the victims named in the recognizance and also for not staying away from a certain place which she was directed not to go near. She is scheduled to appear in bail court on October 5th.
FATAL MOTOR VEHCICLE COLLSION
On the 3rd of October 2012 at approximately 8:35 am Officers from the Sault Ste Marie Police Service were called to St. Georges Ave. at the entrance to St. Basils High School for a report of a pedestrian being struck by a motor vehicle. As a result a 56 year old male was transported to the Sault Area Hospital by Ambulance and later flown to Sudbury where he succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the pedestrian was walking westbound on the sidewalk on the south side of St. Georges Ave, when he was struck by an east bound pickup truck being driven by a 48 year old male that was turning into the driveway at St Basils.
The identity of the victim will be withheld until notification of the family has been completed.

Arrest:
On October 3, 2012 police arrested Marlene Heather Lamming age 49 of 137 Murphy Street for theft under 5,000.00. It is alleged that the accused was at a local residence in the east end of the city and stole 2 gold bracelets, a gold chain, a diamond pennant and 50.00 dollars in currency. The accused will appear in court on November 5, 2012 at 9:00am.
Arrest:
On October 3, 2012 police responded to an assault complaint outside of the Essar Center. The accused is alleged to have grabbed the victim by the hair and punched her in the face. The accused Sarah Anne Rosa age 21 was arrested for assault. Rosa will appear in court on October 29, 2012 at 9:00am.
