Breach, with Warrents for Assault
A 47-year old woman will appear in bail court this morning. Last evening officer from Patrol Services observed the female with a male person in the downtown area. Officers were aware that the female was on a release order with conditions not to communicate with the male, who is the boyfriend of the accused. She was subsequently arrested for one count of breach of a release order. A further query of the female revealed that she was wanted on a warrant from May of this year for one count of assault and one count of breach of a release order in relation to the same male.
Youth Charged with Threatening Death or Bodily Harm
A 14-year old male youth was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of threatening death or bodily harm, one count of breach of probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and two counts of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 29th of September the youth threatened a female known to the accused. At the time of the offence the accused was on a release order not to communicate with the female as was as probation orders to keep the peace and be good. He will appear in bail court this morning.
Failing to Appear For Fingerprints
45-year old Tanya Trudeau of 168 Pim Street will appear in bail court this morning. It is alleged that on the 5th of September the accused failed to appear for fingerprints. A warrant was subsequently issued for the accused.
Detained by Canadian Customs
44-year old Thomas Andrew Boston of 28 Partridge Court was detained at Canada Customs just after 1 am this morning. It is alleged that on the 13th of September the accused failed to appear for fingerprints and a warrant was subsequently issued. The accused was detained by Canada Customs on the warrant and turned over to City Police. He will appear in court on November 6th.
City Police received a number of reports of break and enters yesterday:
1) Between 4 pm on the 3rd of October and 9 am on the 4th of October Capri Beauty Salon on Gore Street was entered, but nothing was taken.
2) A residence on Central Street was broken into between 9 pm on the 3rd of October and 2 pm on the 4th. Thieves made off with a large number of CD’s, a fire extinguisher and a plastic tub.
3)Yesterday afternoon just after 4 pm a camp owner on Hill Road in Prince Township reported a break and enter. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken.
4) Yesterday between 7:30 am and 3 pm a residence in the 1000 block of Wellington Street East was entered. Items taken include jewellery, home electronics and an undisclosed amount of money.
5) Yesterday between 3 pm and 9 pm a residence in the 800 block of Peoples Road was entered. Items taken include jewellery and electronics.
