UPDATE: Young passenger in Trunk Road collision sustains minor injuries

'We're glad everyone is okay': 11-year-old Khloe was given a stuffie and handmade quilt from emergency crews following multi-vehicle collision on Saturday

The family of a young passenger involved in Saturday afternoon's collision at Trunk Road and Dacey Road is relieved to share she's doing okay.

Following an incident that left two vehicles with severe front-end damage, 11-year-old Khloe was attended to by paramedics at the scene before being transported to Sault Area Hospital.

Her mom Jessica told SooToday she walked away from the crash with minor injuries.

Understandably panicked at the scene, Khloe had no shortage of support as emergency crews kept her calm.

Members of Sault Fire and Paramedics even gave her a stuffie and handmade quilt to help relieve some of the nerves, which put a big smile on the young Saultite's face.
