A 17-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for prints in February of 2014. He is now scheduled to appear in court on May 27 2014.
46-year-old Lore-Lei Gabow of Poplar Ave was arrested for a robbery with a weapon. The incident occurred at the Shell Gas Station at on McNabb St. on the 20th of April 2014. It is alleged that the accused attended at the gas station with another suspect and robbed the clerk while armed with a knife. Both suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money. She is scheduled to appear in Bail Court on April 23 2014. The second suspect is still being sought.

At approximately 2:55 a.m., on April 21, 2014, officers attended Canada Customs for a female in custody for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Sandra Mongui, age 41, of Shannon Road, Sault Ste. Marie has been charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle having more than the legal limit of alcohol in her blood. She will appear in court on May 26, 2014.
A 29-year-old male is in custody charged with one count of sexual exploitation. It is alleged that the accused has been involved in a sexual relationship for seven months with a 17-year-old female while being in a position of trust or authority with her. The identity and profession of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim. The accused will appear in bail court this morning.
Calls were received in the River Road and Fournier Avenue areas for a bear in the area between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The bear was seen eating apples and garbage left out for pick up. These animals will continue to frequent urban areas with readily available food supplies like garbage left out overnight.
