Afternoon news In December of 2011 a residence on Willow Ave. was broken into. Entry was gained through a smashed out window and a significant amount of property was stolen.

In December of 2011 a residence on Willow Ave. was broken into. Entry was gained through a smashed out window and a significant amount of property was stolen. Traces of blood were located at the scene and collected by forensic officers. A positive DNA match was sent back to the City Police and a warrant was issued for 20 year old Dylan Houle. Earlier today, an officer from patrol services attended the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and arrested Houle of no fixed address for Break and Enter on the strength of the warrant. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court April 30th.

Morning news

23-year-old Michael Gingras of Goulais River is in custody charge with assault causing bodily harm and breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 26th of April, 2014, he assaulted another male known to him by punching and kicking him and breaking his nose. Gingras will appear in bail court this morning.
