Assault On April 9, 2013 at 10:05 a.m., City Police arrested a 38 year old male in relation to a domestic assault reported to Police earlier in the day.

On April 9, 2013 at 10:05 a.m., City Police arrested a 38 year old male in relation to a domestic assault reported to Police earlier in the day.  It is alleged that the male attended at his girlfriend’s residence, kicked in the  door and repeatedly punched the victim in the head.  He also threatened to kill her if she called the Police.  In addition, the accused was on a probation order with numerous conditions relating to the victim.  As a result of the investigation, the accused was charged with Break and Enter , Assault,  threatening death and Breach of Probation X 4.  He will be appearing in Bail Court on April 10, 2013.

Intoxicated male
 
On April 8th, 2013 at 5:00 pm Patrol Officers located an intoxicated male on Allard St. The male identified as John Dyer, age 48, of 30 Borron Ave. Sault Ste. Marie was found to be on a conditional sentence order not to consume alcohol. He has been arrested for breaching his conditional sentence order and will appear in bail court on April 9th.
 
Break in
 
A home owner on Hudson St. reported to police that his garage and vehicle were entered sometime on the 8th of April. The victim advised police that thieves stole a satellite radio and some coins from his vehicle. And in a similar incident from the 8th of April a home on Ferguson Ave was broken into. The owner of this residence is still determining what was stolen in this crime
