Sometime between 3 p.m. on the 15th of December, and 1 a.m. on the 16th of December, a residence on Hugill Street was entered. Items taken include a black Microsoft Surface tablet, an Ipod touch and a red Nikon digital camera.

Sometime between 3 p.m. on the 15th of December, and 1 a.m. on the 16th of December, a residence on Hugill Street was entered. Items taken include a black Microsoft Surface tablet, an Ipod touch and a red Nikon digital camera.

On the 15th of December, 2014 at approximately 9 p.m., officers from Patrol Services made a traffic stop in the west end of the City. Police investigation revealed that the driver of the motor vehicle was on a recognizance of bail to remain in his residence daily between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. Upon arrested and search of the accused, he was found to be in the possession of a prohibited weapon (a folding knife that opens with centrifugal force). Charged is Joseph John MARTONE 55 years old of Shafer Avenue, Sault Ste. Marie. The accused will appear in Bail Court later this morning.

On the 15th of December, 2014 at approximately 10:51 p.m., officers from Patrol Services arrested a 36-year-old male wanted on outstanding domestic charges. It is alleged the accused communicated with the victim on two occasions on December 7, 2014. The accused was released on a recognizance of bail not to communicate with the victim directly or indirectly. The accused has been charged with two counts of breaching his recognizance. The accused will appear in Bail Court later this morning.

On the 15th of December, 2014 at approximately 9:58 p.m., officers from Patrol Services attended a central located residence with regards to a domestic complaint. Police investigation revealed that the accused male had breached his recognizance of bail by communicating with the victim, attending her residence and consuming alcohol. Charged is a 51-year-old male with three counts of breach of recognizance. The accused will appear in Bail Court this morning.

On the 16th of December, 2014 at approximately 12:20 a.m., officers from Patrol Services attended a west end residence with regards to a domestic dispute. Further police investigation revealed that the male police were dealing with was wanted by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service for a number of outstanding arrest warrants and was also breaching his recognizance of bail with regards to not residing with his surety and remaining in his residence. Charged with Fail to Attend Court, three counts of Breach of Probation, and two counts of Breach of Recognizance is a 29-year-old male. The accused will appear in Bail Court later this morning.
