Arrests:
A 24 year old male was arrested by City Police officers Tuesday afternoon and charged with 1 count of domestic assault. It is alleged that he and a female had a verbal argument which escalated into the male grabbing the female by the throat and pushing her down onto a bed. The male is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on January 24th 2013.

On the 17th of December 28 year old Rhea Desmond of 441 Queen Street West was charged with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that the accused attended at the Zellers on Northern Avenue and removed the price tags from a black handbag and left the store without paying for it. She was apprehended by store security and police were called. She will appear in court on January 21, 2013.

A vehicle parked at the Casino on Bay Street had a side window broken. A Gucci watch and some cash was taken.
