Afternoon news On December 3, 2013 at 8:00 am two adult males turned themselves in at the Police Services Building. One male, a 27 year old, was wanted on previously reported domestic related charges.

On December 3, 2013 at 8:00 am two adult males turned themselves in at the Police Services Building. One male, a 27 year old, was wanted on previously reported domestic related charges. His new charges include three counts of Breach of Undertaking, Breach of Probation and Threatening. In an unrelated incident, the second male, Robert Bouchard, age 29 or 15 Vera St. was wanted for Failing to Attend Court and Breaching his Probation. Both will appear in court on Dec. 3rd.

On December 2, 2013 at approximately 11:57pm a lone male entered the Macs Mart at 187 Gore Street and allegedly stole a submarine sandwich leaving the store without paying.  A description of the male was given to police.  On December 3, 2013 at approximately 12:15am police attended at 13 Queen Street East, Ernies Coffee Shop regarding a break and enter in progress.  Police K-9 and patrol officers attend and a search of the restaurant revealed a lone male inside.  Jody James Edwards of  Grace Street, age 22 was apprehended and charged with break and enter.  Further investigation revealed that the description given at the Macs Mart Store of the lone male that had taken the submarine sandwich matched the individual now in custody.  Further charges of theft under $5000.00 and breach of probation X 4 were also laid at that time.  The accused will appear in bail court on December 3, 2013 at 10:00am.
