Evening news:
On December 31, 2013, at 4:00 p.m., Steven Oliver, 43 years, of Wawa, ON was turned over to City Police by the O.P.P. regarding an outstanding Probation and Parole warrant. Mr. Oliver will be appearing in Court on February 3, 2014, charged with Breach of a Probation Order.
On December 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., an 18 year old female was arrested by City Police on outstanding warrants, some of which related back to youth charges. Upon searching the accused, a small amount of marijuana was located on her. The accused was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. She will be appearing in WASH court on January 1, 2014.
Morning news:
A 34 year old male was arrested by the City Police on December 30th for a domestic related assault. The male had an argument with his common law girlfriend at their residence when he grabbed her by the hair and threw her out of their apartment. He will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.
26 year old Cleis Neveau of 667 Queen St. E. was arrested by City Police officers early last evening and charged with mischief. It is alleged that Neveau was in the rear seat of a Police Cruiser and continuously spit through the dividing partition onto the dash, computer and front seats. He was also on conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Mr. Neveau will be appearing in Provincial Court February 3rd 2014.
