Assault Charges

A 37-year old male will appear in bail court this morning. It is alleged that between the 16th and 19th of February the accused assaulted his common law wife by pushing her and grabbing her. The accused has been charged with one count of assault.

Breach

31-year old Keith Angecomb of 53 St. Georges Avenue West was arrested around 3 am this morning and charged with one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused had consumed alcohol while on probation prohibiting the consumption of alcohol. The accused will appear in court on March 26th.

Youth Charged with Theft

A 16-year old female youth was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that the youth attempted to remove two necklaces from the Sears Store without paying for them. The accused was apprehended by store security and turned over to police. She will appear in court on March 20th.

Attempted Break & Enter

Yesterday morning officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended at Northern Fireplace and Pool located on Oxford Street for an attempt break and enter. Entry was not gained to the store.
