On the morning of January 20, 2015 at approximately 10am patrol officers located and arrested a 21-year old male wanted on a number of outstanding warrants in relation to a domestic incident.

On the morning of January 20, 2015 at approximately 10am patrol officers located and arrested a 21-year old male wanted on a number of outstanding warrants in relation to a domestic incident.  The accused was originally arrested last year and charged with a number offences including assault. The accused was released and awaiting trial when it is alleged that he breached a number of conditions of his release as well as failing to attend court when required. The accused will appear in bail court this afternoon.

Early this morning officers from Patrol Services arrested a 29-year-old male and charged him with two counts of breaching his release conditions. The accused was on release conditions in relation to a domestic related matter. It is alleged that the accused breached his conditions by not residing where he was ordered to by the courts. It is further alleged that the accused was outside of his residence without his surety thereby breaching the release conditions. The accused will appear in bail court this morning.

A 36-year-old female was arrested by city police officers early yesterday evening as a result of a domestic related incident. It is alleged she and a male whom she had been in a previous relationship with, were at the victim’s residence when a verbal argument escalated to the point where the accused hit the male in the face with a coffee cup, punched and kicked him and threatened to kill him. As a result, the accused was charged with assault with a weapon and threatening. She will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.

A 24-year-old male was arrested by city police officers early this morning at a downtown residence after police received a complaint of the male breaching conditions of a recognizance which prohibited him to be within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend. He was also on conditions to reside at a certain address which it is alleged he was not doing. As a result, he was charged with 2 counts of breaching a recognizance and will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.
