On January 27, 2015, 20-year-old Kaitland Laforge of Connaught Avenue was arrested for two counts of transportation fraud and two counts of breach of probation.

On January 27, 2015, 20-year-old Kaitland Laforge of Connaught Avenue was arrested for two counts of transportation fraud and two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 21st and 25th of January, Laforge hired a taxi cab to transport her to various locations and left the taxi cab on both occasions without paying for the service. Laforge was also on a probation order at the time of the offences with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior that she breached. Laforge will appear in bail court on January 27, 2015.

On January 27, 2015 Sault Ste Marie Police officers located a 24-year-old female on Queen Street West. Investigation revealed that this female was wanted on warrants for theft, breaching her probation and failing to appear in court. The female was taken into custody and further investigation determined that the female had also been involved in a domestic argument with her estranged boyfriend. The female’s probation order had conditions that she not communicate with the boyfriend and not attend at his place of residence. The female was further charged with two more counts of breach of probation in relation to the domestic incident. She will appear in bail court on January 27, 2015.
