Evening news: On January 28, 2014 in the early afternoon staff at A. J. Buslines at 132 Industrial Park Crescent complained to police that their business had been broken into. Thieves made off with tires and a welder.

Morning news:

On January 27, 2014, officers attended at a family dispute. On attending officers received information that the mother and daughter were in an argument and when the boyfriend of the mother attempted to break the two up the young person, age 13, threw a toaster oven at the boyfriend causing him to seek medical assistance. The young person was arrested for assault with a weapon and will appear in bail court on January 28, 2014, at 10 a.m.

On January 27, 2014, police arrested Dylan Johnson for driving while disqualified. The accused had attempted to cross the International Bridge and was stopped on his return to Canada. A check of the accused revealed that the accused was on a court ordered recognizance with conditions to obey a curfew, not to be in the driver’s seat of a vehicle and not to change address without notifying the court. The accused Dylan Wayne Johnson of no fixed address, age 25, will appear in bail court January 28, 2014, at 10 a.m.

On January 27, 2014, a male age 58 was arrested for assault with a weapon after the accused threw a cup striking the victim.  The accused will appear in court on March 3, 2014, at 9 a.m.

On January 27, 2014 police arrested the accused Tyler John Taylor, age 23, on an outstanding warrant for assault and breach of probation. The original incident occurred on the 22nd day of October 2013. It is alleged that the accused was at a party in an intoxicated state and when asked to leave the accused assaulted the victim. The accused will appear in court on March 3, 2014 at 9:00am.

On January 26, 2014 the accused Robert Desbois age 48 is alleged to have attended at Topline Electric and entered a vehicle and removed miscellaneous tools. On January 27, 2014, the accused was located and arrested for theft over $5000 and possession over $5000. The accused will appear in court on March 3, 2014, at 9 a.m.
