Male charged in domestic violence incident
On July 9, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 45-year-old male in relation to a domestic violence investigation.
It is alleged that on July 9, 2017 the accused took a cellphone belonging to his ex-wife. The accused then assaulted the victim by pouring a drink on her and pushing her face.
Police attended and the accused was taken into custody. He has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of assault. He was later held for bail court.
