On July 15, 2013 at approximately 10:00 pm the accused male, age 41 allegedly enter the victim’s residence and assaulted the victim by punching the victim and then choked the victim until the victim was unconscious.

On July 15, 2013 at approximately 10:00 pm the accused male, age 41 allegedly enter the victim’s residence and assaulted the victim by punching the victim and then choked the victim until the victim was unconscious.  Further the accused was on probation with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  On July 16, 2013 while on patrol the accused was observed in the area of Wellington Street East and was arrested.  The accused is charged with assault, break and enter and breach of probation. The accused will appear in bail court on July 17, 2013 at 10:00 am.

 Members of the newly formed Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant this afternoon at 441 Queen Street West Apt. #2. 19 year old Kathleen Blanchard and 30 year old Ryan Roy-Godson of that address were both charged with production of and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, 3 counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited weapon, which was a knife that opens with centrifugal force. Mr.Godson was also on a court order prohibiting him from possessing any weapons and as a result was also charged with a breach of that order.Miss Blanchard will be appearing in Provincial Court on August 19th and Mr. Godson will be appearing in Bail Court tomorrow.

On July 15th at 4:40 pm Patrol Officers attended a home on Brien Ave. for a family dispute. Officers learned that a 45 year old male had attended the residence on Brien Ave. to see his children. An argument ensued and the male struck a 15 year old female with a cordless phone. The female received minor injuries in the assault. During the incident a television was damaged. The male has been arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon and Mischief under $5,000.00. He will appear in court on August 19th.

On July 15th at 8:30 pm Patrol Officers were called to neighbor dispute on Killarney Rd. Officers arrested and charged a 75 year old male with Threatening to Harm his neighbor and their pets. The male will appear in court on August 19th.

On July 16th at shortly after midnight Ryan Young, age 20 of 306 Korah Rd turned himself in at the Police Services Building. Young had an outstanding warrant for Failing to Attend Court. He was arrested and charged with this offense and will appear in court on August 19th.
