On June 17, 2014 city poice responded to domestic related incident in the west end of the city. An accused male age 40 breached his probation conditions by not keeping the peace and being of good behaviour and he was not to molest, harass or physically interfere with the victim. It is alleged that on June 15, 2014 the accused became upset and caused the victim to fear for her safety. Further between February 2014 and May 2014 the accused threatened to burn the victim's residence down. The accused stands charged with breach of probation X2 and threatening to destroy property. The accused will appear in bail court on June 18, 2014 at 10 a.m.

On June 15, 2014 at approximately 4:30 p.m., a collision occurred between a grey minivan and a bicycle at the intersection of Andrew and Albert Streets. This collision resulted in the 32-year-old female cyclist being taken to the hospital for treatment of non- life threatening injuries. 

Investigation has revealed that the minivan involved in this collision left the scene after a brief interaction with the cyclist. The cyclist was then assisted by other motorists prior to police arrival. Police are looking to speak to the minivan driver, those who may have assisted, or anyone else who may have witnessed this incident.

At 8 p.m. on June 16, officers responded to a domestic complaint in the parking lot of Finn Hill on Black Road. A passerby had been waved down by the female complainant and asked to call police. The investigation resulted with a male, known to the victim, being arrested and charged with 1 count of assault. The accused will appear in bail court this morning. No injuries were reported.

At 1:20 this morning, 22-year-old Thomas Agawa of Frontenac Street was arrested and charged with trespass at night and breach of probation. Patrol officers had received a complaint of a person in the back yards of houses on Cunningham Road. The accused was apprehended on Routledge Street after a short foot pursuit. Agawa also had outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court, trespass at night and breach of probation. Mr. Agawa will appear in bail court this morning.
