On June 6, 2016 at 4:45 p.m., city police arrested and charged Elliott Southwind, 34 years, of Point Charles Road, Garden River, ON with theft under $5,000 and utter threats X 2.

On June 6, 2016 at 4:45 p.m., city police arrested and charged Elliott Southwind, 34 years, of Point Charles Road, Garden River, ON with theft under $5,000 and utter threats X 2.  It is alleged that the accused attended at Walmart in the Station Mall and left the store without paying for meat. Once outside, it is further alleged that when store security arrested him, he threatened to cause bodily harm to one security officer and to kill the other. He will be appearing in court on July 11, 2016.

On June 6, 2016 at 5:40 p.m., city police arrested and charged Christopher Wood, 38 years, of Bay Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON with theft under $5,000 and breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused attended at Romes grocery store in the Cambrian Mall and left the store without paying for groceries. The accused was on probation with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. He will be appearing in court on July 11, 2016.
