On the 23rd of March just before 6 a.m., city police attended at Planetarty Pride on Queen Street East for a break and enter. A small amount of money was taken.

On the 23rd of March just before 6 a.m., city police attended at Planetarty Pride on Queen Street East for a break and enter. A small amount of money was taken. 

On the 23rd of March in the evening hours would be thieves attempted to break into a residence in the 500 block of McNabb Street. Entry was not gained, however damage was done to a door.

Shortly after midnight, city police attended on Glasgow Avenue after a homeowner heard a car door slam shut. He looked out and saw a young male running away from the owner’s car in the driveway. The homeowner chased the male without success. A small container of change that belonged to the owner was recovered a short distance from the residence. No further description of the male is available.

On March 23, 2015 at 8 p.m., the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated a domestic assault complaint. Officers learned that a female had been assaulted by her 52-year-old male boyfriend. The assault consisted of the accused taking broken glass and stabbing the victim in the head and arms. The victim required medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries. The accused has been charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. The accused will appear in bail court on March 23.
