On the March 2, 2015 at 11:50 p.m. and shortly after midnight on March 3, 2015, city police responded to three reports of break and enters to three local establishments in the downtown area. Officers attended in the area along with the Canine Unit.

On the March 2, 2015 at 11:50 p.m. and shortly after midnight on March 3, 2015, city police responded to three reports of break and enters to three local establishments in the downtown area. Officers attended in the area along with the Canine Unit. After a short track the suspect, 20-year-old Nathan James Boissoneau of Trunk Road was arrested. He faces charges of Break and Enter, Breach of Probation and Possession of an Instrument suitable for breaking into a place. Further, the accused was wanted on an arrest warrant dating back to occurrences reported to city police on February 23 2015. On that date, it’s alleged that Nathan James Boissoneau had in his possession stolen property, trespassed by night on the property of a resident in Sault Ste Marie and breached the terms of a Probation order that the accused was on.  Boissoneau will be appearing in Court on March 3, 2015.

On March 3, 2015 at 1:15 a.m. city police officers arrested a 20-year-old male wanted on several outstanding domestic related warrants. The male was wanted for 2 counts of Assault, Forcible Confinement, 5 counts of Breach of Probation and Mischief to Property. The alleged offences occurred in mid February 2015. He will appear in Court on March 3, 2015.

On March 2, 2015, city police responded to a family dispute call in the east end of the city. Information was received that a young person assaulted his mother and father and later caused damaged to a bedroom wall. A check of the young person revealed that he was on conditions to not molest, harass or annoy his parents. The accused was arrested for assault X 2, mischief and breach of undertaking X 2. The accused will appear in Bail Court on March 3, 2015 at 10 a.m.
 
On March 2, 2015 while on general patrol, officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and came across 2 males both know to police. A check of one of the males was done and it was found that he was on two separate probation orders. The accused was arrested for breach of probation X 3. One charge was for not abiding by his curfew and the other two for not keeping the peace and being of good behaviour. The accused Jody James Edward, age 24, of Second Line West, will appear in bail court on March 3, 2015 at 10 a.m.
