Impaired Driver
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 48 year-old Pierre Chalifoux on the 1st May at 12:53 am on Goulais Ave and charged him with one count consume over the legal limit and failing to provide breath sample. It is alleged that on the 1st of May just before 1 am, officers received a call regarding an impaired driver and the vehicle in area of Goulais Ave. Officers were able to locate and stop the vehicle on Goulais Ave, and found the driver, the accused, to be under the influence of alcohol. The accused is to appear in court on the 28th day of May.
