Arrests/Charged Persons: 

On May 14, 2013 Hannah Harvey of No Fixed Abode, age 23 was arrested on outstanding warrants for failing to attend court and breach of probation X 2.  The accused will appear in bail court on Wednesday 15, 2013 at 10:00am.

Break and Enters:

A residence in the 100 block of St. Georges Avenue was entered and a Samsung laptop was taken. Entry was gained by smashing out a window at the rear of the residence.

Mischief

An excavator was damaged in the 800 block of Old Goulais Bay Road

On May 14, 2013, the bus shelter in the area of 111 Huron Street was damaged when 2 windows were smashed out.

Earlier release:

City Police are currently investigating a home invasion which took place late yesterday afternoon at a west end residence. The suspects tied up a female victim and her 1 year old daughter and made off with undisclosed items. Both the mother and daughter were not physically hurt. The suspects left the scene with the female’s vehicle which was later involved in a single motor vehicle collision in Laird Township which resulted in a search involving the OPP. The suspects are still at large and are considered armed and dangerous. Further details and information will be released when they become available.
