Early Sunday morning, at 1:32, police were called to an accident at the intersection of McNabb and Linstedt Streets.
Early Sunday morning, at 1:32, police were called to an accident at the intersection of McNabb and Linstedt Streets. A 1992 Buick Regal operated by 22-year-old Quinn Simmons of Great Northern Road was westbound on McNabb Street when he lost control and hit a utility pole. The driver was treated for minor injuries and the vehicle was demolished. The investigation continues.

Yesterday at 3:13 p.m. police were called to investigate a single vehicle accident on Trunk Road. A 1988 GMC van was westbound on Trunk Road when it left the road, went over the rail tracks and ended up in a ditch. Damage to the vehicle was moderate. The driver, Donald Raynor, age 40, of McMeekan Street was transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

Yesterday at 5:41 p.m. officers arrested 3 young offenders for break-ins at Rosedale Public School, Anna McCrea and Riverview Schools. Windows were smashed to gain entry and then thieves searched for money and computer parts. Court dates are set for Jun
