Arrests

On the 11th of November 2014 at approximately 1 p.m. officers from Patrol Services were following up on a domestic complaint that had occurred between the 3rd of November and the 9th of November 2014. The accused breached her Undertaking issued by an Officer in Charge with regards to communicating with the victim numerous times. The 24-year-old female accused will appear in Bail Court tomorrow the 12th of November 2014.

On November 10 patrol officers located 30-year-old Cheryl Pheasant of Huron Street and confirmed an outstanding warrant for her. It is alleged that she failed to report to the John Howard Society as required by the courts. She is now charged with breaching her recognizance and will appear in court on December 15, 2014.

On November 10 at approximately 8 p.m., police and the fire department were called to a fire at the Huron Central Railway on Oakland Avenue. Investigation revealed a small fire to a structure located on the property. Damage to the property was estimated at $5000 and the circumstance surrounding the fire is deemed suspicious. Investigation is continuing.
