On November 18, 2014 at approximately 10:45 a.m., detectives from Investigation Services arrested James Robert ELLIS, 33 years old of Bay Street, Sault Ste.

On November 18, 2014 at approximately 10:45 a.m., detectives from Investigation Services arrested James Robert ELLIS, 33 years old of Bay Street, Sault Ste. Marie, for activating a False Alarm of Fire and Mischief to Property-unlawfully interrupt or interfere with the lawful use or enjoyment of property. It is alleged the accused activated a fire alarm on November 8, 2014 at the New American Tavern located at 602 Bay Street resulting in the occupants evacuating the building. As a result of the investigation no fire was detected and no injuries reported. The accused will appear in Bail Court November 19, 2014.

On November 18, 2014 at approximately 12:45 p.m., Patrol Services arrested a 21-year-old female with regards to an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to attend court, fail to appear for prints and breach of YCJA probation. It is alleged the accused failed to attend court on June 16, 2014 with regards to those offences. She will appear in Court on December 22, 2014.

34-year-old Kyle Madill of Bloor Street West was arrested by city police yesterday for breaching a condition of a recognizance he was placed on from the 14th of November. Mr. Madill was found to be in possession of alcohol when he was not allowed to. He will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.
