Evening news: A theft was reported from a vehicle in the 100 block of Montgomery Avenue. A small amount of cash, screwdrivers, a key chain and some dice were stolen. A 39-year-old female was arrested and charged with one count of assault.

A theft was reported from a vehicle in the 100 block of Montgomery Avenue. A small amount of cash, screwdrivers, a key chain and some dice were stolen.

A 39-year-old female was arrested and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on November 26, 2013 the woman assaulted her 10 year old son by striking him repeatedly in the head and face. He did not receive any physical injuries. She will be appearing in court on December 30, 2013.

28-year-old [no charge on file] was arrested and will be appearing in bail court tomorrow. It is alleged that between November 24 and November 26, 2013 the accused made numerous telephone calls to a former employer causing the employers to fear for their safety. He is charged with one count of criminal harassment.

Morning news:

On November 25th at approximately 6:50 p.m., police and ambulance responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on Trunk Road near Fournier. A 69 year old female was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Traffic Services are continuing the investigation.

Police attended at 570 Dundas Street with regards to a theft from vehicle. It was reported that a quantity of roofing tools were stolen from a locked vehicle. Entry was gained to the vehicle by smashing a window.
