On the 22nd of September the City Police Fraud unit arrested 24 year old Matthew McLean of Brien Ave. for Fraud and Uttering a Forged Document. It is alleged that earlier this month he had cheques not belonging to him and wrote two out to himself and then cashed them. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on October 26th.
A 35 year old male was arrested on a warrant by City Police Detectives this afternoon regarding a domestic related incident. It is alleged that on September 15th the accused assaulted his girlfriend by kicking her in the ribs. He was also on conditions not to molest, harass or annoy her and to keep the peace. As a result, he was charged with assault causing bodily harm and two counts of breach of probation and will be appearing in Bail Court on September 23rd.
At 3:15 p.m. on September 21, 2015, city police arrested a 23-year-old male for domestic related offences. It alleged that on September 18 and September 21, 2015 the accused attended at the work place of his ex when prohibited from doing so. As a result the accused has been charged with two counts of breach of a recognizance of bail and will be appearing in bail court on September 22, 2015.
At 3:30 p.m. on September 21, 2015, city police arrested a 43-year-old male for a sexual assault. It’s alleged that on September 20, 2015 the accused had just met the victim and assaulted her at his residence. The accused was charged with sexual assault and breach of probation. He will be appearing in bail court on September 22, 2015.
At 10:35 p.m. on September 21, 2015, city police arrested 24-year-old Jordan Paim of Dacey Road on numerous outstanding arrest warrants. Paim is charged with three counts of breach of recognizance, two counts of assault, one count of theft under, one count of escape custody and one count of breach of probation. The incidents date back to the summer of 2014. He will be appearing in Bail Court on September 22, 2015 at 10 a.m.
