The City Police are requesting the public's assistance regarding a sexual assault they are currently investigating. This assault occurred in the Patrick Street area earlier this afternoon. Police are currently looking for a male suspect described as being in his mid 40's, medium build, medium length dark hair, scruffy white unshaven face wearing a green top and torn clothing. The Sault Ste. Marie Drug Unit conducted a search warrant at approximately 11:15 a.m. on September 23rd. As a result of the search officers located 129.5 grams of cannabis marihuana for resale, one recently cultivated marihuana plant, .4 grams of methamphetamine, 15 prohibited weapons (knives), a quantity of cash, various drug paraphernalia, a psilocybin (magic mushrooms) grow operation, 14 grams of psilocybin, 42 morphine tablets and various growing materials. The total value of the drugs seized was $4,120.00.
As a result Daniel Vachon, age 21 of 264 Nixon Road is charged with 2 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking of narcotics, 2 counts of production of narcotics, 2 counts of possession of narcotics and 4 counts of possession of prohibited weapons.
Michael Vachon, age 19, also of 254 Nixon Road is charged with 2 counts of production of narcotics, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking narcotics, 3 counts of possession of narcotics and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon.
Natasha Duguay, age 21, o f1452 Leighs Bay Rd was charged with one count of possession of narcotic.
Joey Degilio, age 20, of 251 Northern Avenue East was charged with one count of possession of narcotic.
All four will be appearing in court on October 21st.

20 year old Walter Duggan of 232 Beverly Street was arrested and charged with one count of theft under $5000 and one count of possession of stolen property under $5000. It is alleged that on September 21st the accused stole an electric bicycle from an address on Bay Street and that on the 23rd of September he went to a local pawn shop with the bike and tried to sell it. He will be appearing in court on October 21.

A 25 year old female will appear in bail court this morning. The accused was on conditions to abstain from communicating with a male she was involved in a domestic incident with. It is alleged that on the 23rd of September she had the male to her residence where they were playing video games. She is charged with one count of breach of a release document.

A 49 year old male will be appearing in bail court this morning as well. It is alleged that the accused was on a probation order stemming from a domestic assault on a female. He was on conditions to abstain from communicating with her or going to her place of residence. It is alleged that the accused attended at her residence on the 23rd of September and was communicating with her. He is charged with two counts of breach of probation.

A 2000 Oldsmobile Alero, red in color was reported stolen from Oakland Avenue. The doors were locked and there was approximately a half a tank of gas. The license plate is Ontario BHVA 716. It was stolen sometime between 10:00 p.m. September 22nd and 3:30 a.m. on September 24th.
