On September 29, 2015, at 8:40 a.m., City Police arrested an eighteen year old male on a first instance warrant for theft under $5000 and breach of a YCJA probation order. It is alleged that on May 14, 2015, the accused attended the LCBO in Station Mall and stole a bottle of liquor. The accused was on a youth probation order at the time with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. He will be appearing in court on November 2, 2015.
On September 29, 2015 at 11:30 a.m., City Police received a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 400 block of Bush St. The rear door to the residence was kicked in but it appears nothing was taken.
On September 29, 2015, at 12:00 p.m., City Police received a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 100 block of Foxborough Trail. The homeowner had been out of town for two weeks and when he returned he discovered his residence had been entered by unknown persons who took his refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer and clothing.

On September 28, 2015 at 4 p.m., city police arrested 51-year-old John Peter Pozzo of West Street. It’s alleged that the accused damaged the property of a person known to him and threatened the male. Pozzo has been charged with mischief to property under $5,000 and threatening to cause death or bodily harm. He will be appearing in court on November 2, 2015.
On September 28, 2015 at 9:40 p.m., city police arrested a 36-year-old male for domestic breaches. It’s alleged that the male attended at the residence of his ex in contravention of his recognizance and consumed alcohol in contravention of the same court document. When arrested, the male spit in the face of one of the arresting officers. The male has been charged with two counts of breach of recognizance and one count of assaulting police officers. He is scheduled to appear in bail court on September 29, 2015 at 10 a.m.
