On September 9th a home on PArk St. was broken into. Theives made off with some jewellery.

On September 8, 2014 city police responded to theft of grocery items at the Metro Grocery Store on Second Line West. The accused was apprehended outside by lost prevention officers. Police arrested the accused male age 15 for theft under $5000. The accused will appear in court October 7, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
On September 8, 2014 a young person turned herself in at the City Police Service for a charge of assault. It is alleged that earlier in the day the accused age 16 assaulted another young person at the City Bus Terminal by punching and kicking the victim. The victim suffered a black eye, cuts to the inside of the victim’s mouth and scraped knee. The accused was arrested for assault and will appear in court on October 14, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
On September 9, 2014 at approximately 2:48 a.m., city police stopped a vehicle in the area of Bruce Street and Wilson Street. A check of the passenger was done and it indicated that the male was on a recognizance with one of the conditions being a curfew. The accused was also on probation with a court ordered condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. James Augustine Syrette, age 42 of Old Garden River Road, was arrested for breach of recognizance and breach of probation and will appear in bail court on September 9, 2014 at 10 a.m.
