Two arrested in drug raid

Two Ferguson Avenue men face drug possession and trafficking charges

On Sept. 2, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit and the Crime Suppression Unit attended to an address on Ferguson Ave. to execute a CDSA search warrant.

Officers located marijuana plants growing in the back yard of the residence. A further search revealed quantities of both cannabis marijuana as well as cocaine.

46-year-old Roger Frolich of Ferguson Avenue has been charged with production of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled drug as well as a breach of probation charge.

61-year-old Roger Taylor of Ferguson Avenue has been charged with production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Total value of drugs seized was in excess of $4,600. Both accused will be appearing in Provincial Court on Oct. 3.
